Keep it or Leave it? – The Question that Needs to be Answered

It is not unlikely to have items in your house which are never used. However being human, it is our tendency to get attached with our belongings while collecting other stuff over time. Here are some facts that you need to answer consider that will help you in making the right decision of keeping or leaving your belongings –

Am I going to use this again?

Ask yourself about the utility of the belongings that you have given shelter in your home. Are they being used? What was the last time when you used them? If you can not recall the last time when such items were used, chances are that they are not going to be used in the future as well. It is therefore better to chuck such items.

Do I have its replacement or can I find one for it?

If the answer to the above questions comes to be in affirmative then you are actually wasting space (and time) with them. If you have the replacement for them, there is no point in keeping them at your home and compromising with your living space.

Why it is still in my house?

Sometimes we keep stuff that has no actual value and purpose. If you are keeping them for some sentimental purpose, you need to think again.

If you are still unsure about what to do with your belongings, you have the option of keeping them safe and secure at a storage unit until you decide what to do with them. Select a good NYC storage facility and utilize your space in an effective manner.
